The pictures pretty much speak for themselves. Luckily the gate is kind of noisy and it takes her a little while to figure out how to get through so I am always able to make it there before she gets far. We are hoping that soon she will get to big to fit through the hole!
Already???? We spent the day at the beach yesterday with a bunch of friends. It is so nice to be able to make day trips to the beach!
Lyla is turning into a beach bum which is perfect since we live so close to the beach. She loves the sand and loves the water even more. We hope to get to the beach a few more times this summer.
We stopped in VA for 2 days before our beach trip and stayed with our good friends Nicole and Paul. Lyla had a good time with her friend Dominick and new friend Cassius (their dog).
not quite yet. She has stood by herself for 5 seconds the past couple days and is “cruising” around all the furniture. She kind of took a step the other day but it will be a couple weeks before she is walking on her own!
came to visit last week/weekend. We had so much family visit over the past month, we loved it!
We are a couple days late but Lyla turned 9 months on the 21st. She is getting into all sorts of things around the house. She is very close to walking on her own! She cruises around the furniture and has stood by herself for a couple seconds. Where has our little baby gone!!!
Lyla has so many big girl things going on. She is slowing starting to shy away from baby food cause she loves to feed herself. Her favorites are peas, carrots, chicken and watermelon. She also has starting using a big girl sippy cup! Finally her new car seat came yesterday! We can’t wait to install it in the car. 9 months is slowly creeping upon us which means only 3 more months until Lyla is 1. This year is going way to fast!!
We had a GREAT 4th of July weekend. We spent a lot of time hanging by the pool.
